90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc A love story begins
Once upon a time, a bee (or two) travelled from the flowers of a Cabernet Franc vine to the flowers of a Sauvignon Blanc vine. A seedling began to ripen inside the mother grapes. Then came war, and the vineyard was abandoned. Years later, the vintner returned to his land and found a new vine. He tasted the grapes and fell in love. It was Cabernet Sauvignon. Tasting notes:
This complex wine has intense notes of black fruits, such as cassis and blackberry, combined with subtle hints of spices, bell pepper and oak, which come from its barrel ageing.
It has a powerful, structured flavour with firm yet elegant tannins. The balanced acidity highlights the flavours of ripe fruit, complemented by notes of dark chocolate and aromatic herbs, offering a rich, lingering tasting experience. The long, sophisticated finish leaves a lasting impression that invites a second sip.
It has aged in oak barrels for between 18 and 24 months.
