About this wine and the label:
Malbec Argentino is one of Catena Zapata’s iconic wines and a tribute to the history of the grape variety that transformed the identity of Argentine wine. Crafted from grapes sourced from two of the Catena family’s flagship vineyards—Angélica and Nicasia—this wine seeks to express the balance between concentration, elegance, and freshness that distinguishes the great Malbecs of Mendoza.
The label depicts the variety’s historical journey from Cahors, France, to its establishment in Argentina, symbolizing the rebirth of Malbec at the foot of the Andes Mountains.
